Imagine free jazz that is not aggresive, but at the same time hypnotic and soothing. Cosi obviously sees himself as a krautrock descendant (see the song: "Proud To Be Kraut"), but he is also into european improv and po-mo jazz of Evan Parker and company. All together this makes a very heavy mixture of future jazz "head music". I came across this album after a review in Wire and it blew my mind during a long bus trip. Sorry to the person sitting next to me, it must have been a weird experience listening to Cosi's demented and heavy processed sax loops via very loud headphones in my ears.
